The student selected is Mackenzie Caldwell of Red River Elementary School.   Her nomination statement said she is here on time with a smile each and every day. She comes ready to learn from bell to bell. This young lady is a hard worker; she goes over and beyond to ensure she excels.

She is always willing and eager to assist her friends and her teachers when there is a need. Her diligence and effort can be seen in her work, as she has made great improvements in both English Language Arts and Mathematics. – Nominated by Ms. LaCurtia Clay, Assistant Principal
