The Principal of Red River High and Red River Junior High for the past several years is moving into school Administration. JC Dickey has assumed the position of Director of Accountability and Student Affairs. The office was created following the retirement of Karren Squires. Her duties at Central Office are being divided among several positions.
The position of Principal was filled as Athletic Director and Assistant Principal Norman Picou was promoted.
Picou in a statement said, “Congrats to JC Dickey III on his promotion. We hope to continue to build on the progress that he started at RRHS and RRJH.”
The changes were announced to the Red River Parish School Board at the December meeting.
