Red River Parish Sheriff Glen Edwards congratulated Deputy Darryl Jordan on recently completing the eight-week Basic K-9 Patrol Dog Training Program offered by the Shreveport Police Department.

Deputy Jordan was certified alongside K-9 partner Marco, a three year old Belgian Malinois.  The dog is patrol K-9 trained in narcotics detection and apprehension/controlled aggression.

Deputy Jordan and Marco are now an active part of the Red River Sheriff’s Department’s K-9 team.  They join Sergeant Lee Petersen and K-9 Aron.
