From the southernmost ski resort in the United States comes a report of lots of snow and a great skiing season ahead. Although resort officials expect it to be a short season this year.
There was enough snow for one brave soul to suit up and make a run. World traveler and ski aficionado Ardis Almond told The Journal it was great skiing on the slope located near the suburb of Edgefield, just up the mountain from the town.
Almond did not give the exact directions to the ski resort out of concern that too many others might come and ski up all the great snow. The Journal tried to locate Mt. Edgefield however it did not show up on any area map.
