Red River Junior High is recruiting for their football team.  Students wishing to play this fall should submit all paperwork by the start of classes on Monday, August 31^st.  For more info call 932-5265 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Red River Athletics posted Attention Parents and Student-Athletes 

Due to the safety concerns of students transitioning to classes during the school day and the traffic flow of buses and car riders, any student-athlete that has chosen to be a virtual student cannot come on campus to participate in any athletic/spirit group activity until after 3:30pm. This policy will be strictly enforced by all coaches, spirit group sponsors and administration. Thank you for understanding and cooperation with this policy during this challenging time.

The Bank of Coushatta announced Thursday that the lobby will re-open today (Friday August 14^th) for regular hours.  The lobby had been closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.  The drive through and ATM will be also available to customers.

We recently told you that Red River Junior High launched a new website for the school.  Now Red River Academic Academy as launched a new website also.

RRAA 5th-grade teacher Sherry Pickett has created a new website for the academy. Bookmark the site today so that you may easily access calendars, educational links, virtual classrooms, and an abundance of information to help ensure your Bulldogs’ success this year.  Both websites may be accessed through the RR Bulldogs website.

A Couple of weeks ago The Journal published a suggested schedule for parents to require children to wear masks to become accustomed to them prior to the beginning of school.  Here is the schedule for the rest of the summer:
