A group of 4-H students from the parish recently went on a field trip to Baton Rouge.  They toured state government and other historic sites. And the students got a lesson in how Louisiana government works.

From the 4-H social media post, “Had the best day with these kids at 4-H day at the Capitol!  They met and chatted with Senator Gerald Long, Representative Kenny Cox, and Governor John Bel Edwards! All of these men told stories about their years in 4-H!  They also toured the Capitol and the USS Kidd.”
