The Red River Parish Sheriff’s Office recognized Expand Energy for a generous donation in support of the agency’s K-9 Division.
Expand Energy recently contacted the Sheriff’s Office with a desire to give back to local law enforcement. After visiting with staff, the company chose to invest in critical tools that help keep deputies and the community safe. Through their contribution, the department was able to purchase Garmin GPS trackers and K-9 medic kits for its working dogs.
“These resources are essential to protecting our four-legged partners who work alongside our deputies every day,” said Sheriff Glen T. Edwards. “Our K-9s are often the first to go into dangerous situations. Knowing we have reliable tracking equipment and medical supplies on hand makes a real difference in both officer safety and public safety. We are extremely grateful to Expand Energy for stepping up to support this mission.”
The donation will directly benefit the K-9 teams that respond to calls across Red River Parish, assisting with tracking, searches, and drug enforcement efforts.
Sheriff Edwards extended his sincere appreciation to Expand Energy for their partnership.
“Strong communities are built when local businesses and law enforcement work side by side,” Sheriff Edwards said. “Support like this helps strengthen our department and our parish. When we stand together with a shared commitment to service, everyone benefits.”
The Red River Parish Sheriff’s Office thanks Expand Energy for believing in its mission and for supporting the men, women, and K-9s who protect and serve Red River Parish.
