Community volunteers spent the last two Saturdays cleaning up their neighborhoods. On Saturday, February 25, 2023, the following volunteers were out in the Springville Community: Janet Smith, Michael Smith, Marie Babers & Albert Taylor.
On Saturday, March 4, 2023, the following volunteers were out in Martin, Southern Hills, Esperanza Road and Army Road: Anita Taylor, Ben Taylor, Larry Hughes, Nancy Taylor, Mike Tingle, Carol Tingle, Kevin Robinette, Andy Long, Danny Snead, Mark Longino, Mary Ann Longino and Tray Murray.
Another cleanup day was held earlier this spring in the parish. Thanks to Police Jury Vice President Ben Taylor and his staff for the information.
