On Monday, February 6, Riverdale Academy hosted its annual reading fair. Some fantastic projects were entered, and nineteen projects advanced to the district reading fair, which will be held at Northeast Baptist School in West Monroe on March 1st. Reading fair sponsor Bethany Seales said, “We had some fabulous entries this year. The students worked very hard, and it showed. I’m looking forward to seeing these students advance to district.”
Students advancing to district include 1st graders Caysen Gates, Jillie Shaver, and Alexis Yount; 2nd graders Layla Sneed, Annelise Cason, and PJ Guidry; 3rd graders Adalyn Halbmaier, Lindsey McCrory, and Avery Tingle; 4th graders Dally Bell, Avery Longino, Kylee Davis, Mackenzie Harper, Addison Coe, Jentry Bounds, Hope Williamson, Milton Guidry, and Benton Yount; 5th graders Trevor Bell, Sam Murray, Brylee Halbmaier, and Hasty Davis; 6th grader Ryder Shaver; 7thgraders Hayden Cason and Kaden McNeely; 8th graders Layken Gates, Ally Kate Hillman, and Kynnedi Taylor; 9thgrader Alaina Boyd; and 11th graders Georgia Carlisle and Emily Nettles.
