Wiley Inspired Man Church

They came.  They ate. They sang.  And they worshiped.  Man Church was held last Thursday night at The Shop on Hwy 507.

Guest speaker was Justin Wiley, the youth pastor from First Baptist Church of Marthaville.  His message was encouraging and full of hope and love.  His first point was “Sunday morning is not enough to sustain your walk with Christ.”  From there, Wiley explained his journey was not a smooth or pretty sight, but he gives God the credit for his salvation.  “He put people in my path that I needed,” Wiley added.

Wiley spoke on the parable of the Prodigal Son from Luke chapter 15 to illustrate the Father’s love that is always waiting for his children to return.  He concluded by explaining, “We cannot work hard enough to earn God’s love.  It is a gift of grace through faith.”

Man Church meets at The Shop on Hwy 507 the second Thursday of each month.  Men from 12 to 120 are welcome.
