Red River High held Senior Night last Friday at the football gave against Menard. Seniors on the football team were introduced prior to the game. They were escorted by family and friends and presented numerous presents.
Along with the Bulldogs amazing win Friday night, the RRHS seniors celebrated their last high school football season. Seniors presented Friday night were from dance line, majorities, and football. The following seniors were presented.
Football:
Marcus Brewer plays defensive end and right end, he has also lettered for 4 years. After high school Marcus would like to play football at the next level.
Jaylen Grigg plays wide receiver and has lettered for 4 years, after high school he plans to attend LA tech in pursuit of his dream in coaching and physical education.
Brandon Harris Jr. plays linebacker and has lettered for 4 years, after high school he plans to go to college and continue to play football and get his degree.
Cameron D Keith plays running back and linebacker and has lettered for 4 years. He plans to play football at the next level.
Jonnie Maxie plays wide receiver and corner, he has lettered for 4 years. He plans to attend the University of Louisiana in Lafayette and go into the NFL.
Nathaniel Miguel Mitchell plays nose tackle and has lettered for four years, after high school he would like to go to work.
La’Treyvon Nash plays guard and has lettered for four years, after high school he plans to get a job on the railroad and hopes to follow the footsteps of his Paw Paw and be successful.
Brian Palmer Jr. plays wide receiver and his letter for three years, he plans to attend college and play football and get a degree in sports medicine.
Joseph Steele plays cornerback and has lettered for four years, he plans to go to college to take up welding.
Timothy Thomas plays center and long snapper and has lettered for three years. He plans to further his education and play football at the next level.
ROTC:
Ayanna Babers is a fourth year cadet and distinguishes herself but her creative writing, she excelled in drill and in her ability to help others within the cadet group. After high school she plans to attend college study culinary arts with the ultimate goal of one day owning her own restaurant.
Brianna Latson is a third-year cadet and a member of the color guard and saber teams; she also helps to train new members of the team. After high school she plans to attend graveling State University to her social work with the ultimate goal of becoming a social worker.
Like Kirby could get first lieutenant and serves as the color guard commander, she is also responsible for organizing the team’s training and participation in events. After high school she plans to attend Louisiana college in Pineville to study early child development with the ultimate goal of becoming an elementary school teacher.
Aurora Phillips is the first sergeant of the Red River High School JROTC program, she is responsible for assisting commander in the operation of the entire course consisting of 39 students and serving as an example to the first and second year cadets. After high school she plans to attend college for early childhood development with the ultimate goal of becoming an English teacher.
Chloe Pickett is the cadet commander of the entire red River high school JROTC program, she is the directly responsible for the operation of the entire cadet corps consisting of 39 students she has been in the program for four years. After high school she would like to attend Louisiana college in Pineville to major in nursing.
Jasmine Tommy is the executive officer to the cadet commander of the red River high school JROTC program, she is responsible for assisting the commander in the operation of the entire corps of 39 students. After high school she plans to attend college in major in psychology with the ultimate goal of becoming a school counselor.
Band:
Justin Johnson is a drum major and has lettered for 4 years, after high school he plans to attend Grambling State University in major in computer science to become a music producer.
Skyler kitchen is a first chair trombone player it has lettered for four years, after high school he plans to go to Northwestern state university to study music and become a band director.
Danceline:
Shaniya Stanneisha is a royalty line member and has a lettered for four years, after high school she plans to attend LSU in Baton Rouge and get her bachelor’s degree then attend a pharmacy program and get her pharmacy degree to become a pharmacist.
Latisha Edwards is a majorette at Captain and has lettered for three years, after high school she plans to attend the university of Louisiana at Lafayette where she would major in athletic training.
Shaiquica Frasyier is a royalty line member and has lettered for four years, after high school she plans to attend the university of A&M in Baton Rouge any major in business administration.
Briana Jefferson is the cocaptain of the royalty line and has lettered for four years, plans to go to college at LSUS in Shreveport and major in nursing.
Ariana Johnson Lieutenant of the Danceline and has lettered for four years, she plans to graduate college and work as a nurse and her own business.
Jylisa Parker is a majorette and has letters for two years, she plans to attend LSU and become a pediatric oncologist to work with children with cancer.
Amilyah Taylor is the Danceline Captain and has lettered for 4 years, after high school she plans to attend Southern University and A&M college and plans to major in criminal justice to later become a criminal defense attorney.
