University recruiters from Louisiana and surrounding states descended upon the Red River High campus recently for the annual College and Career Day. School officials estimated there were over 20 booths representing universities, the military and others offering services to students looking toward college.

One very popular table was the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance. They had information on the process for obtaining financial aid and the types of aid that might be available.

Schools represented included LSU, LSUA, LSUS, La Tech, Grambling, ETBU, LA College, NSU, Southern Arkansas University, Centenary, and others. The schools represented offered a variety of curriculum to Red River students.
