I, Susan Taylor, ask the voters of District 7 to cast your vote for Me.

Education has been in the forefront of my life for as long as I can remember and the children of Red River Parish have been my passion for more than 40 years.

I pledge to continue to work for more opportunities for all students, pay for all employees that is competitive with or surpassing surrounding parishes, making sure quality teachers prepare our students for future success, and creating policies that support the laws and needs of our parish.

We have made tremendous changes in the past four years. We have created a system that rewards excellence in teaching. We are beginning to show growth to mastery for students in high stakes testing, and are promoting our own teachers and employees to leadership roles.

We need to keep moving forward. We cannot take a step back. Help me to continue to champion this fight for our children. Help me to serve the people of District 7 and the children I so dearly love.
