Red River Parish Library to host hands-on AI workshop Tuesday

Residents interested in learning more about artificial intelligence will soon have an opportunity to explore the technology firsthand as the Red River Parish Library hosts an upcoming AI Workshop focused on building skills for a smarter, technology-driven future.

The workshop, led by instructor Toby Deville, is scheduled for this Tuesday, March 3, with two session options available to fit different schedules. Participants may choose between Session 1 from 10 a.m. to noon or Session 2 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Organizers say the hands-on event will introduce attendees to the power of artificial intelligence and provide practical learning experiences designed for beginners and those curious about emerging technology.

Library officials encourage community members of all backgrounds to attend, noting that AI is becoming an increasingly important tool in everyday life, education, and the workplace. The workshop aims to make the subject approachable while helping participants better understand how AI works and how it can be used responsibly.

Registration is now open, and space is expected to fill quickly. Those interested in attending can call 318-932-5614 to reserve a spot.

The Red River Parish Library says the event is part of its ongoing effort to bring new learning opportunities to the community and help residents stay informed about evolving technology trends.
