Governor Landry has written a letter to be disseminated to teachers in Louisiana regarding the Constitutional amendment that did not pass in April of this year.  Dated July 8, 2025, the letter advises educators that, instead of a constitutional amendment grouped with a multitude of other entities, the new amendment will focus solely on educator and support staff raises.
