The Red River Parish Library welcomed friends from Green Meadow Haven and the Council on Aging on Friday, December 15. Several ladies from the community volunteered to help with the activities.

Norma Lester started the festivities reading “The Year of the Perfect Christmas Tree”. She played her Dulcimer Harp & sang songs to go along with the book. She also brought several beautiful paintings her husband, Don, painted years ago, which were inspired by the story.

Everyone enjoyed punch and homemade cookies. Nativity scene crafts were made. Bingo was played and some great Christmas themed prizes were won. 

Everyone enjoyed the fun, fellowship and celebrating the true meaning of Christmas.
