The LSU Ag Center reports more and more women are becoming involved in management of farms and ranches. Annie’s Project teaches women about farm and ranch production, financial management, and a host of other topics.

Annie’s Project will be offered Wednesday and Thursday August 30th and 31st at the Caddo LSU Ag Center meeting room. Time is 7:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. The cost is $50.

Their news release describes the sessions as “a relaxed, fun and dynamic way to learn, grow and meet other farm and ranch women.” It said through Annie’s Project courses “farm women become empowered to be better business partners or sole operators…”
