DOTD announces continued progress on the ongoing $12 million project to replace six rural bridges in northwest Louisiana, with the LA 507 bridge over an unnamed creek near the intersection with LA 514 at Womack in Red River Parish now open to traffic.

As the project moves forward, the next bridge site in the project will be under construction beginning Wednesday, October 28, 2026. This bridge is located on LA 507 over Stanley Creek in Red River Parish.

This bridge on LA 507 is located approximately 3.5 miles south of the intersection with LA 514. (see included map)

Construction time for this replacement work is anticipated to be approx. 8 months, weather and other factors permitting. This is the next to last bridge to replaced as part of this ongoing project.
