The Student of the Month from Red River High was Mi’Yunia Nelson. Her teacher, Michael Cox’s nomination statement said, “Mi’Yuna is truly a joy to teach! She is a focused, determined young lady who consistently stays on top of her work. She isn’t afraid to ask for help and always makes sure her assignments are completed and turned in on time. With her sights set on becoming a physician, Mi’Yuna is already demonstrating the dedication and perseverance needed to achieve her dreams.
