Robert Carroll LeGrande, “RC”, was 88 years young and had lived a FULL and GLORIOUS LIFE.
He was the youngest and last of 10, was an educated man, the most practical, hardest working man any of us ever knew. BEST HUSBAND EVER. Loved family, hunting, guns, travel, and WORK; not necessarily in that order. He played as hard as he worked: Farming, Ranching, Oilfield, Hunting, and Full of BS. Gave his whole heart to all tasks with laser focus. Vacations were the biggest treat. His energy will be sorely missed. LOVING was his second language.
Carroll and Dollye have been married 68 years. Producing 6 children, 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 on the way. Endless nieces and nephews. The family he so loved will continue to GROW.
Preceded in death by his parents, George and Evelyn LeGrande, 4 Brothers, and 5 Sisters. In-laws William and Christine Prince.
Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Monday, August 31, 2026, at Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Forsythe officiating. Interment will follow in Springville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be his Grandsons.
The Family wishes to Thank Christus Coushatta Hospital and Staff. Including Drs. Coleman, Chico, Cason, Herbel, and Troxclair. Specialty Rehab and Staff (especially Kim McCoy), Centerwell Home Health and Hospice of Natchitoches for their Services and Care.
