Red River Parish 4-H is inviting students in grades 7-12 to kick off the new school year with an evening of fun, friendship and plenty of messy activities during the 4-H Junior Leader Back-to-School Mess Fest.

The event will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 5:30 p.m. at the Red River Parish 4-H Office. Participants are encouraged to wear clothes that can get dirty as they enjoy an evening designed to celebrate the start of the school year with “lots of mess.”

The event is also a great opportunity for students interested in becoming more involved in 4-H. Attendees can learn about the Junior Leader program, meet current members, make new friends and discover leadership opportunities available through 4-H.

Organizers encourage all eligible 4-H members in grades 7-12 to come out for an evening of laughter, fun and fellowship as they kick off another exciting school year together.
