RRPSB gets their teach on

Friday, June 7, 2024, Red River Parish School instructional employees participated in a day full of Get Your Teach On.

GYTO cofounders Hope and Wade King kicked off the day with the opening keynote, which focused on teacher reset. They shared insights and proven strategies to help RRPSB staff identify core instructional priorities and maximize their impact in the classroom. The morning concluded with The Five to Thrive session, which focused on getting big results from best instructional practices.

RRPSB celebrated all employees during the lunch break with an employee appreciation lunch.

The afternoon was divided into grade groups with breakout sessions. PK-5 had an afternoon of fun and engaging activities and data planning. Grades 6-12 focused on increasing student accountability and student engagement.

The day ended with everyone in the RRHS auditorium for a final wrap-up and balloon activity.
