Dr. Rick Williams, NRCS State Forester spoke to us about incorporating good plants for wildlife habitat, food and explained to us how to manage the understory for timber, wildlife and controlling undesirable species. Tim Collins took us on a hayride stopping at 3 plots. Saline Soil & Water Conservation District will be obtaining 2 of the Pig Brig traps in the very near future for Bienville Parish landowners to rent. Huge thanks to Representative Jack McFarland who fought hard for this grant.
