A Town Hall meeting that had been scheduled for Wednesday afternoon was cancelled by the Congressman’s office.  A brief email sent to the Journal did not give a reason for the cancellation or a date for it to be rescheduled.

U.S. Representative Mike Johnson’s office had notified the media last weekend that Johnson would be at the Red River Parish Library Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 pm. He also had stop earlier in the day in Natchitoches. Both of those appearances were cancelled.

Red River Librarian Trey Lewis told the Journal on Thursday that no one from the Congressman’s office has contacted him about rescheduling the Town Hall.
