A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Vickie Jacobs Pickett, 66, was held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 10:00 AM with the rosary service starting at 9:00 AM prior to service time at St. George Catholic Church in Coushatta, LA with Monsignor Earl Provenza officiating. Interment will follow at Thomas Wren Cemetery in Martin, LA. Family received friends on Monday, July 12, 2021, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Coushatta, LA..

Vickie was born on September 14, 1954, in Pleasant Hill, LA to Jimmy and Bobbie Jean Jacobs and passed July 9, 2021, in Coushatta, LA.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Bobbie Jean Jacobs and sister, Beverly Gray.   Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 50 years, Roger Pickett; two daughters, Brandi Jones and husband, David; Jennifer Peters and husband, Kevin; grandchildren, Sidney, Abby, Ava, and Cade; sisters, Barbara Johnston and husband, Daniel and Sonya Rowell and husband, Jason; brother, Jackie Collins and wife, Patricia; and many nieces and nephews.

Honoring Vickie as pallbearers will be Ricky McPhearson, Chris Possoit, Clint Giddens, Dewayne Pickett, Jeremy Pickett, and Brandon Green. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Young and Charles Cannon.

Memorials can be made to St. George Catholic Church.
