Red River High athlete Timothy Thomas has been selected to the Louisiana Football Magazine 2020 All North Louisiana First Team Offense.  Magazine editor Lee Brecheen previewed the Red River Bulldogs in Louisiana Football Magazine.

Brecheen said, “Thomas has grown a lot since the 2019 season.  He was 6” 1” but now is approaching 6” 3”.  He described Thomas, “A big time sleeper for college that is strong.”

Louisiana Football Magazine preview of the Bulldogs said, “The offensive line is the reason big plays will have a chance to be made.  The entire offensive front weighs anywhere from 220 to 325 pounds.”  The line was described as one of the biggest in 2-A.

The fall schedule was put on hold by the COVID-19 outbreak.  The LHSAA is meeting today in Baton Rouge and teams are expected to be released to play beginning October 8^th.
