The banks in town have closed their lobbies.  This is in response to the latest COVID-19 virus.  If you have business to conduct with bank officers or others in their facilities, please call your bank for an appointment.  The drive-thru windows and ATM machines are available to customers.

The deadline for ordering spirit shirts is getting close. Orders are due by midnight on July 19. Don’t forget to get your orders in.  This year we will have one uniform T-shirt that conforms to the dress code and can be worn any day of the week. Please follow the link on the school’s Facebook page to order. Make sure to get your order in by July 19^th.  Production time is much longer this year due to COVID.

According to the National Weather Service Shreveport office, It’s been busy for tornadoes across our area this year, but we’re pretty much matching where we were this time in 2019. The locations are slightly different, but so far in 2020, we’ve confirmed 37 tornadoes compared to 39 in 2019.  So far Red River Parish has recorded one tornado this year.  We’re also leading all NWS offices right now with issuing a total of 76 Tornado Warnings this year. In 2019, we were farther back in the pack, but had still issued 77.
