A familiar face around Red River High School for the last couple of years is Major Thomas Edwards. He has lead the corps of cadets since Colonel Coleman retired.  Now it is Edwards’ turn.

About his upcoming retirement, Edwards said, “Praising God for my last day at Red River High School JROTC. I will be retiring on June 15, 2019, my last day of the Cadet Leadership Course at Grambling State University.

“Thanks to all my outstanding cadets and wonderful co-workers. Retirement here we come!”
