Freedom Worship Center is building a new facility and they are paying for it with crawfish. The church last weekend held a crawfish boil to benefit their building fund.
Pastor Ashanti Cole and a group from the church had the fires going under several pots of boiling mudbugs. There was a pot for the corn and potatoes too!
They filled up the coolers with fresh boiled crawfish and transported them to the Max Way parking lot where they were selling them for $10 per order. Talk about a good thing to pick up on a Saturday.
