
The National Weather Service office at Shreveport on Thursday posted a note about possible storms to begin our weekend:
“Strong thunderstorms will move into our region from the west early Saturday morning and move across our region through the afternoon. Some storms could become severe, possibly producing damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes.”
We have been receiving rain most of the day on Thursday and into the evening. The Weather Channel predicts rain will continue all day Friday. Precipitation chances are 100% at 6 am down to about 50% during the afternoon then increasing to 85% Friday evening.
