School grades are out. From the Louisiana Department of Education website, Red River High got an overall “C” while Red River Junior High and Red River Elementary got an overall “D.”

Your favorite place to buy beer and other adult beverages had their licenses renewed for another year. The police jury on Monday voted to renew those businesses in the parish selling beer and liquor. There are a total of six located in the parish. Those in town are licensed by the city.

The parish library reports its computer systems were shut down for users for a wile this week. Their service provider was hacked, causing the interruption. The library asked patrons to “pardon the interruption.”

There is still time to sign up for the Coushatta Heart Program, sponsored by MLK Health Center and Pharmacy. Free health screenings will be done Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Christus Coushatta. Thee will also be food, fun and giveaways.
