The Red River Parish School Board has set the tax rates for the coming year. Finance Director David Jones told the board at Monday nights meeting that they will remain the same as last year. Two resolutions setting the rates were adopted unanimously.

On a voice vote all board members present voted to adopt the Millages. By category, here are the tax rates:
Constitutional – 4.970 Mills
Construction, Repair & Equipment – 5.620 Mills
School Maintenance & Operations – 16.320 Mills
School Salaries & Benefits – 16.180 Mills
School Construction Bond – 2.25 Mills
