Great news. Ms. Kennedy’s Technology in Kindergarten has been fully funded. She posted, “I am very humbled that you have donated to my classroom and my students! Thank you for your generous donation! We can not wait to use our tablets! We will incorporate these items into our whole group and small group lessons to help us learn Math, Phonics, Reading, Writing, Science, History, and even art!”

Thursday morning at 11:00 am you’re invited to another sports signing. One of the Red River Lady Bulldogs will sign a college basketball scholarship. The ceremony will be held in the school library. Come offer your congratulations.
Red River High School coaches from various sports are in Baton Rouge at the Louisiana High School Coaches Association convention. There is general information on being a more effective coach and break out sessions that are specific to each sport. More coverage on the event coming up in a future issue.
In case you had not heard, the Red River Bulldogs are in a new, redrawn district from last year. The football will play district games this fall against Winnfield, Lakeview, Bunkie, Many, and Holy Savior Menard. Their complete schedule is available on the Max Preps site.
This weekend is the “Strike Out Cancer” benefit co-ed softball tournament at Coushatta City Park. Play is all day Saturday.
