Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies and Red River Parish Sheriff’s Deputies along with a K-9 are searching an area off of Messick Road and Holman Loop near Fairview Alpha on June 3 for a suspect wanted by the Red River Parish Sheriff’s Office according to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies are currently searching a wooded area for Jeremy Daniel Key, W/M, Age: 41, Hgt/600, Wgt/195, Hair/Lgt. Colored balding with gray, last seen wearing blue jean denim shorts, a light colored blue or gray tshirt, light colored cap and white tennis shoes.

NPSO Deputies say Red River Parish Sheriff’s Deputies contacted them requesting that they BOLO for a vehicle occupied by Key entering Natchitoches Parish. When NPSO Deputies stopped the vehicle, Key fled from the vehicle into some nearby woods.

Key is wanted by the Red River Parish Sheriff’s Office on a active criminal warrant for Attempted Murder. Deputies say it is unknown at this time if Key is armed.
