Burn Ban lifted in Red River Parish

The Red River Fire District has announced that the burn ban in Red River Parish has officially been lifted.

Fire officials thanked residents for their patience, understanding, and cooperation while the ban was in effect. The district issued approximately 60 burn permits during that time, with no incidents reported.

Although outdoor burning is now permitted, the Fire District reminds residents to continue practicing fire safety. Never leave a fire unattended, keep water or firefighting equipment nearby, avoid burning during windy or extremely dry conditions, and make sure all fires are completely extinguished before leaving the area.

The Red River Fire District expressed appreciation to the community for following the guidelines and helping keep the parish safe throughout the burn ban.
