Riverdale Academy will host Hayden’s Pay It Forward Blood Drive on Wednesday, September 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The drive is being held in honor of Hayden Cason, who is recovering from a recent traumatic injury.

During his hospital stay, Hayden has received 20 units of blood, plasma and other lifesaving blood products. Now, his family and supporters are hoping to give back by encouraging others to donate and help patients facing unexpected medical emergencies.

Students, parents, staff, alumni and members of the community are invited to participate. Organizers hope the drive will turn Hayden’s difficult experience into a lasting impact by helping provide lifesaving blood products for others in need.
