COUSHATTA, La. – September 1, 2026 – UNITY001, a tax-exempt nonprofit organization, will host The Honorable Mayor Cole’s Leadership Luncheon on Friday, November 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Jack & Laura’s Building, 1824 Front Street, Coushatta, Louisiana 71019. Doors open at 10:30 a.m.

The luncheon will recognize the leadership of Mayor Cole while bringing together community leaders, residents and supporters to celebrate civic service, unity and the continued growth of Coushatta.

The event will feature Deacon Raymond Babers Jr., who returns to his hometown of Coushatta with a commitment to uplifting the community that helped shape him.

Presented by UNITY001, the luncheon also reflects the organization’s commitment to serving seniors, individuals with special needs and youth through programs that promote growth, education and opportunity.

The event’s theme, “Leadership. Unity. Community. We Are Better Together.” captures the spirit of an occasion designed to strengthen relationships, recognize service and encourage a shared vision for Coushatta’s future.
