Local seniors are invited to enjoy food, fun and fellowship during the first All American Senior Fun Day on Wednesday, September 9, in Coushatta.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Jack & Laura Center, located at 1824 Front Street. It is open to adults 55 and older.

The day will include activities, prizes and a free lunch for those attending. The event is hosted by Bristol Hospice and the Red River Council on Aging.

Organizers hope the inaugural event will provide area seniors with an opportunity to get out, visit with others and enjoy a day designed especially for them.
