The Saints travel to take on the Cowboys tonight in the last preseason game with kickoff at 7pm at AT&T Stadium.

The 27th Annual Cane River Zydeco Festival & Poker Run returns to downtown Natchitoches Sept. 4-5 for Labor Day weekend. The two-day celebration along the downtown riverbank will feature live Zydeco music, dancing, Louisiana culture and the popular motorcycle poker run, bringing another weekend of music and fun to the Cane River.

A $30,000 grant from Amazon Web Services will fund sensory areas and staff training at Sci Port Discovery Center to improve access for neurodivergent families.

LSU continues to have a strong presence in Major League Baseball, with 16 former Tigers having appeared in an MLB game during the 2026 season. The group includes some of baseball’s biggest names, including reigning National League Cy Young Award winner Paul Skenes, along with Alex Bregman, Aaron Nola and Kevin Gausman. Other former Tigers in the majors this year include Josh Smith, Jake Fraley, Alex Lange and several recent LSU standouts. According to MLB, 104 players who spent time at LSU have reached the Major Leagues over the program’s history.

Iranian state television has aired a video appearing to threaten Barron Trump, the 20-year-old son of President Donald Trump. The broadcast claimed his movements were being monitored and referenced a $10 million reward, although the bounty claim has not been independently verified. The U.S. Secret Service confirmed it is aware of the video and said it investigates anything perceived as a threat against those it protects.
