There are few things more rewarding than knowing a simple act of kindness can make a difference in a child’s life. This weekend, families across Red River Parish have an opportunity to do just that while enjoying great savings at CBS Home Express & More.

On Friday, August 7, and Saturday, August 8, CBS Home Express & More is joining Ace Hardware stores across the nation in the 14th Annual Children’s Miracle Network Miracle Bucket Days, a fundraiser that has generated nearly $9 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals over the past 14 years.

For just $5, customers can purchase an official Ace Miracle Bucket, and 100 percent of every bucket sold will benefit CHRISTUS Coushatta Children’s Hospital, helping provide life-saving equipment, advanced technology, family support services and specialized care for local children when they need it most.

The giving doesn’t stop there.

Once customers purchase their Miracle Bucket, they can fill it with almost anything that fits and receive 20 percent off those qualifying items. Whether you’re stocking up on hardware, picking up supplies for a weekend project, or shopping for home essentials, every purchase becomes another way to support children in our community.

To make the weekend even more memorable, CBS Home Express & More will be offering free rides aboard the CBS Miracle Train for children—and anyone who’s still a kid at heart.

Families will also have the opportunity to meet Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Champion for Northwest Louisiana, Cade Hanna, who will be at the store beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday. Cade, the son of Will and Cassie Anderson Hanna, serves as an ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, sharing his family’s story to help raise awareness and inspire others to support children receiving specialized medical care.

Meeting Cade and other children of CMN throughout the two-day event offers families a chance to see firsthand how Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals impacts the lives of local children and reminds everyone that every Miracle Bucket purchased helps provide hope and healing for families throughout our region.

Train rides will depart every hour on Friday at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 and 5:00, and every 30 minutes on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. through 2:30 p.m.
