The Red River Parish Library invites children of all ages to experience the magic of summer reading. As part of the library’s Plant a Seed, Read! Summer Reading Program, magician DAT Does the Trick will be at the library on Monday, July 20th, at 2:00 to amaze and astound children and adults alike. Dat Does the Trick’s family-friendly magic show features fantastic magic tricks, incredible balloon animals, laugh-out-loud jokes, and surprises, leaving audiences in awe and eagerly anticipating the next trick. Remember, this activity is free and open to the public! We hope to see you here!

On Tuesday, July 21, Ms. Terri Remedies will be at the Red River Parish Library at 10:00 in the morning to bring the Workforce Connect program to anyone ages 14-24 who might be interested in their services, including preparing for the GED, homework assistance when school starts, preparing for a new school year, and many other activities. Anyone who has children or grandchildren, nieces or nephews, or maybe your friend’s children, can bring them to the library to check the many services Workforce Connect offers. Ms. Remedies will be at the library for 10:00 to 2:00. Walk-ins are welcome. We encourage all to check it out!
