Friends, family, and community members are coming together to support Melanie Sullivan through a benefit fundraiser on Saturday, June 27, at The Krawfish Place in Campti. Melanie is recovering from a serious automobile accident that left her with multiple broken bones and head injuries, preventing her from returning to work while facing mounting medical and living expenses. The event will feature a garage sale beginning at 8 a.m., followed by brisket tacos, specialty lemonades, and other food items starting at 11 a.m. An auction and raffle will also be held. Organizers encourage the community to attend, make a donation, or help spread the word as Melanie continues her recovery.
