Statistics for first days of early voting in June Primary

Early voting numbers are beginning to take shape in Red River Parish ahead of the June Primary Election.

As of Thursday morning, June 18, a total of 156 voters have cast early ballots. Of those voters, 62 were male and 94 were female.

By race, early voting totals include 123 White voters, 32 Black voters, and one voter listed as other.

Party participation shows 92 Republican voters, 52 Democratic voters, and 12 Independent voters have taken advantage of early voting so far.

Voting methods include 96 ballots cast in person and 60 mail-in ballots.

The Red River Parish Clerk of Court reminds voters that early voting will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. Early voting will resume Saturday morning for those wishing to cast their ballots before Election Day.

Voters are encouraged to check the official election schedule and bring proper identification when voting.
