Red River Parish Schools will be closed for Thanksgiving Break beginning today, Fri Nov 21. Schools will reopen Mon Dec 1.

First Methodist Church Coushatta is hosting a Community Thanksgiving Service Sun, Nov 23 at 6pm. Reception to follow the service. Everyone is invited to attend.

The 4-H Chefs Club will meet Mon, Nov 24 from 5:30-6:30pm at the 4-H Office. The club is open to all 4-H members who love to get in the kitchen and for those who plan to compete in the Food Challenge competition. The class cover a fun recipe and basic kitchen skills.

Per football sources, the New Orleans Saints are expected to play a game in Paris as early as the 2026 regular season. The NFL and stadium officials in Parish are working to finalize a deal to bring the Saints to Paris, with an announcement coming soon.
