The Krewe of Khulu is a non-profit organization that was established in 2024. Their members are dedicated to celebrating the rich heritage of Red River Parish by developing more economical awareness and growth of community wellbeing. They do this by gathering with one another in love, awareness, celebration and most importantly, serving its citizens of Red River Parish and the surrounding areas!

On November 15th the Krewe, in the spirit of serving this community, participated in feeding the residence living in the Red River Senior Apartment and Coushatta Seniors Apartment. The Krewe formed groups of members and volunteers to prepare and serve plated food. The residents thanked each group for providing food and conversation. The number of plates prepared was well over 100. The hearts of both the Krewe and citizens were united in gratefulness of the season and of one another.
