(UPDATE 10/15/2025): DOTD advises the public that progress continues on the replacement of the LA 514 bridge over Bayou Chicot, as part of a larger project to replace six rural bridges in Red River & Bienville Parishes.

The current timeline for reopening this bridge is December 2025, weather permitting.

The contractor is currently working on pouring the approach slabs that will tie the roadway in to the newly constructed bridge, as well as other associated work.
