The Shreveport-Bossier Astronomical Society, Inc. to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Hubble Space Telescope with an evening observation session at the Shreveport Observatory on Saturday, October 18 from 7:30 – 10pm. 

Bell’s Camp Trade Days will be held Nov 7 from 2-6pm and Nov 8 from 9am until 5pm. Crafts, food, jewelry, home decor, vintage items and much more. 

Louisiana Christian University invites all high school students and their parents to attend its annual Fall Preview Day on Saturday, Nov. 8. It’s the best opportunity to learn about all the opportunities in academics, athletics, ministry, music, and so much more. Check-in will begin at 9 a.m. with the program beginning at 10 a.m. in Guinn Auditorium. There will be informational sessions for both students and their parents, in addition to tours of campus and residential halls. Representatives from academic departments and campus organizations will be on hand to visit with prospective students. Students who attend will receive a free T-shirt, lunch and tickets to the 2pm football game against Arkansas Baptist University.
