The Red River Blue Essence Dance Team is holding Dance Camp: Pink Out Edition Sat Oct 18 from 10am-2pm for ages 6-15. Cost is $40 and includes camp participation, t-shirt,  and lunch. Participants will perform at the RRHS football game. More information here.

Louisiana Christian University will hold its annual Homecoming and Spirit Week activities Oct 13-18, culminating in the football game against Nelson University on Saturday at 6pm and the crowning of the Homecoming queen during halftime.

A study found women whose last child came after 33 had roughly twice the odds of living to about 95 compared with women whose last child came by 29. Another study reported women who gave birth after 40 were about four times more likely to reach 100.
