Ever wondered what CASA is all about? Now’s your chance to find out — and make a difference at the same time.
CASA 101 will take place September 25 at 5:30 pm at First Methodist Church in Coushatta offering the community an introduction to Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and the vital role they play in the lives of children in foster care. Attendees will learn how CASA volunteers advocate for children in court, ensure their voices are heard, and help them find safe, permanent homes.
While learning about CASA’s mission, participants will also take part in a hands-on activity—creating encouragement cards for the children served by the program. Every card provides a message of hope and support, showing these children that their community cares.
Whether you’re simply curious, passionate about helping children, or looking for a meaningful way to give back, this event is the perfect first step.
Mark your calendar, bring a friend, and come see how you can be part of changing lives through CASA. Be a voice for the most vulnerable youth.
