Ten Red River Parish Firefighters completed a Heavy Vehicle Rescue/Extrication Class at Bossier City Fire Training Center this week, sponsored by MES/Hurst Rescue Tools. 

Fire Chief Woodfin expressed congratulations to all of his team. 

After completing the classroom portion, firefighters practiced rigorous scenarios in vehicle stabilization, the use of rescue tools, victim stabilization/removal, and rope rescue.

Firefighters who completed the class: Randall Bradley, Jeff Gibson, Brandon Spears, Colby Bryant, Cameron Smith, Brandon Dowlen, Joey Emerson, Coty Rachal, Mike Prince, and David Norwood.
